Imagine hearing the news that you just one of the most dynamic play callers in College sports.... feeling super optimistic 

And then hearing that Luke retired... and suddenly questioning your place on the team you helped build. 

I'm sure we'll hear from Cam soon... but its relatively fresh.

Cam seems to be going through some things.  I am sure they talked privately.  While a little out of character if he doesn't comment at all, he could still address it in the next couple days without it seeming too late etc.

I would imagine that Luke retiring hits closer to home for him than it does for most players. Cam and Luke have carried this team for almost a decade, and it's cost them both a lot physically, mentally and emotionally. Seeing the guy that followed you into the league, and who became your defensive counterpart retire, has to be tough. I believe we'll see something from him soon.

Hmmm. My thought is that Cam is a bit overdramatic and doesn't do things small. I'd expect some huge video tribute coming out today or tomorrow. 

As far as Cam following suit, it just doesn't make sense. This has to be what he's been waiting on for years - a head coach that will put a premium on the offense by assigning resources and bringing in smart/innovative coaches and playcallers for that side of the ball. If he's healthy enough to get on the field, I'd think he'd at least see what's to come. Though he could be hesitant to learn a new playbook at this stage of his career and life. 

Great players are usually concerned with their legacy. It means a lot to them. Cam has an opportunity to increase his now and silence the accuracy and "he's just a running QB" doubters, while Luke was probably tarnishing his a little due to health.

Luke doesn't use any social media and Cam knows it. All those tweets are for the public. Cam could very well keep it private with Luke.

I'm sure Cam has spoken to Keek, These two carried the franchise together for 8 seasons... I have a feeling this nut punch is the first, Greg is going to the booth despite all the good hope otherwise Cam is a huge unknown, Cam can't be 2015 Cam again.... with the current state of the rest of the team even with him the ceiling is a likely 7-9.....
