Well, all y’all sticking it out come and get the rest of us when we’ve built up a decent team again.

No, just stay the hell away! If you're not going to go through the tough times don't come for the good. Fairweather bandwagon fan!

It won't be any worse than when Fox took over for Seifert or when Rivera took over for Fox. There will still be some great games that get our hopes up, and some infuriating ones that make us question our fan status.

A byproduct of a bad season is that people who normally would not be able to afford to go to a game, and may have never been inside the stadium, will be able to get reduced priced tickets. Even during a loss, a visit to the stadium is a great experience, one that many of us take for granted.

I'm looking forward to watching the rebuild or possibly the retool. We've got a good core of young players, with play makers on both sides of the ball. We've also got some gaping holes that won't be easily filled with comparable replacements. Luckily, we've got a new coaching staff that has historically been able to do more with less. It'll be interesting to see how they use the talent we do have and cover for what we don't.

Football is entertainment. It's not real life for us. If you don't enjoy it, don't watch it. It'll still be here when you're ready to come back.

As a longtime Hurricanes fan, the almost decade long playoff drought taught me that if we have to be bad, be all the way bad. The Hurricanes never quite went all the way and for a long time couldn't draft difference making players but also couldn't win enough to make the playoffs. So I can deal with the bad. To me all those years where we lost close game after close game and finished 7-9 is far worse. Let's draft some great players and get back to the Superbowl.
