Joe Brady Joining Panthers Coaching Staff.

There's a pretty good read in the Athletic on Brady from one of their New Orleans guys.

From 'who dat' to wunderkind

Quote

“It’s the best quarterback of all time and he’s watching what we’re doing. That is special,” Brady said. “A guy like Joe Burrow, seeing when I can put a play on that Drew Brees has done for 10-plus years and then see Joe Burrow doing the same read, the same progression and everything, it’s pretty special to see. They say that they’ll call out our plays and everything like that.”

Those still in New Orleans like Payton and Brees have given genteel praise of Brady since leaving for LSU and through all the success thereafter. That’s not stopping the coaching world from looking into plucking Brady after only one year as a full-blown assistant after spending two years with the Saints as a fringe assistant.

Brady made clear he’ll “absolutely” remain with the Tigers next season. He even pointed to Tigers offensive coordinator Steve Ensminger as the “hottest name” in coaching. But as Brees pointed out, that’s the nature of coaching. And will those like Payton and Brees claim Brady in the “tree?” Damn right.

(written prior to the National Championship, and today's news, of course)

you still meh about all this?

Yes, wish I had everyones excitement. Even heard Rhule say " Im no offensive or defensive guru, I just work hard and hire people" Well he hired a 30 year who called a couple(maybe) plays per game.  Only one season of exp, I might add.Yes national champs with best QB and studs all over. Then the opposite for DC- Snow a 64 year old whos never called a NFL game. Sure that Sean Payton, Bruce, and Juilo will take it verry easy on him........ meh at best

Much preferred anyone form Dallas staff, legit and available.
