If that’s true it kind of defeats the purpose of the award. You have a guy like Greg who basically played a decade injury free and was the best TE in the game for at least a 3 year span not even mentioning his charitable contributions and they muffed the award for him. The year they had a first place tie and excluded him was borderline infuriating.

Congrats to cam and a big thank you to all you panthers fans who participated. At the very least this goes to a good cause and shows Cam and the Panthers that the fans truly love him. I really hope he wins the actual award, he does so much and takes so much abuse on and off the field and still doesn't say a peep and gets up the next day to help others. This better not be another slap in the face like they did Greg with the co winners and leaving one out as it their accomplishment wasn't good enough as the others.
