Guys, you are thinking short term.  This a long game.  The only FA's they will bring in will go undrafted.  How many can you sign anyway?

You are about to see a roster churn on this Defense.  Luke, Burns, Obda, Jackson, Butler, Shaq and probably James will remain most likely.  There rest will come from draft and undrafted ranks.  I would not get my hopes up for high priced FA signed for this defense.

The same could be said about the offense

To be fair Cam is injury prone going to be 31 and Luke is 29 heading into next season. I could see teams dragging their feet on giving away 1st for players that are aging.

1st round picks are for 2015 Cam and a 25/26 year old Luke

To think he thought Little was Gross so much that he was willing to trade up for a guy who was rocketing down draft boards since the combine that he ignored seeing centers available in the 2nd that were just like Kalil. Heck, McCoy was a top 4 rated C. He may end up being better than Kalil when all is said and done, but Mr. Blinders who thinks everyone else is on to his great score has to jump through hoops to get his guy.

And now, people even in this thread are talking about how it isn't bad if we have Little as Thomas' backup for 3 years. SMH. Spending 2020 #7, 2019 #47 and #77 on LT. Wouldn't it be nice to have Thomas, 2020 2nd rounder, McCoy, Turner and Moton plus pick #77 from last year. Ugh, so freaking bad.

But he's the best talent evaluator in the Galaxy!

Grier was pick #100 and the jury is still out obviously.

Picking a defensive player at 7th could potentially be the death nail in Cam's career and start a string of multiple losing seasons. Unacceptable. There will be some very good DTs available with our second round pick.

Forget all the guys we're losing. Losing guys off of a terrible unit isn't necessarily a bad thing. The biggest problem we have on our DL is that Kawann Short contract. Poe's contract can easily be jettisoned.

We've all seen the gif of KK quitting and standing there playing patties-cake right here on the huddle. There needs to be a come to Jesus meeting with the DTs we're stuck with in the near term.
