Bye Felicia

You might like being a just and average team and wondering what type year we are going to have.  Have a winning season....500 season and then a losing season and it keeps repeating.  Every team goes through cycles but it depends on how long you want to be irrelevant.  I guess you don't give a flip Sheila.

Wow nice way of trying to flip the script! You said you wanted to go back to being a Colts fan because we're in a slump! Is that what do in life when things don't go your way? I bleed this for team loyal to the end!!! See your self out!!!

If we are rebuilding, here is what I would do:

Keep Moton at RT.

At RG; We have Turner through 2021 (Contract).  Trade him (since he has the Pro Bowl status) if you can for a future draft pick.  If not, play him at RG.  However, he is primo trade bait right now.  If you could trade him, draft a young G with the pick you get.  Are we better?  Probably not--in 2020.  But a RG upgrade is not as crazy as it seems on paper.  We could save a ton of cap $$ and get a good young rookie to develop there without a huge drop off.

At C, draft a C late.  Paradis improvement could be related to strength (post surgery).  I would need to watch the late-game film again, but if we could keep him and he can play at a decent level, he is getting paid.  There is an escape clause after this season, so draft a C on day 3.

At LG, we need better than Van Roten.  He is a great backup, smart enough to learn all 3 interior position, but he is only above average as a pulling G.  I would move Greg Little inside to G.  If he can beat out Van Roten, play him there.  If he needs more time, groom him for a year and have him take Turner's job.

At LT, Draft a franchise LT.   I have been saying "Develop Little" and I still think he could become a LT. But the more I look into it, the more I think he could be a serviceable LT or an all-pro G.   If we got a stud LT and Little could play G, our Left OL would be as good as the right side should be.

IMO

Get your Franchise LT in the Draft whether it be Thomas, Wirfs, or Wills

Move Moton to LG- Yes he's been our best OL, but thats not saying much.  Yes he was solid but it could always be improved.  Moton was projected to be a NFL OG coming into the NFL.  This move for Moton would be Very Similar to the Saints moving Peat to LG which has been huge.

Little at RT? He was a LT in college projected LT in the NFL.  But his skill set say he Can play RT.  He is similar to the Saints RT, Ramczyk, who they drafted at the end of the 1st.  Ramczyk was a LT coming out of college as well.

Paradis was TERRIBLE yesterday but im willing to give him another shot.  New staff/OL coach, another year away from him injury, and Rhule seems to run more Zone blocking schemes which is what he ran in Denver.

Ever heard of sarcasm Jus.  I was a Baltimore fan since I was 6 years old until they moved away to Indy.   When Carolina became a franchised I became a Panther fan.  When they played this year I was pulling for Carolina from opening kick off to the last snap.  Run along now Shelia.

You are giving Paradis a lot of lead way.  I rather keep Turner but he is good trade bait for a 2nd or 3rd rounder in this year or next years draft if doesn't matter.  We could use Little and Daley at RG and RT and Morton and one of the mention ones on the Left side.  We need to give both Daley and Little a chance so we know what we need to do next year.  We can get a young center and Paradis sucks as bad as he did this year we have a young center in the line to take over.

But, but, but... we don't need a LT at #7 because Greg Little and Dennis Daley!!!

I don't put much stock in PFF ratings, but I do know that the more those two guys played the worse they looked.

It's very early in the draft process but from what I'm seeing there is so far 1 viable LT at #7 and given the history of LTs busting they will always scare me however if you dont take one you will never know. The other thing (once again using PFF) I've noticed is a vast majority of rookie LTs taken high maybe churn out a 5 pt better grade and improve in their second year if they dont bust. Considering the horridness under center and around them I'm inclined to give them one more year, especially little who did not get to play enough due to concussion s. It's not so much a we dont need as is chance of impact this year and in the years to come.

N2m from what I've seen we can land said center in the early 2nd and they actually dont bust that high it's just a matter of drafting them. Like you i don't believe in throwing picks away because their rookie year on a bad team was bad.
