Kuechly pulling out of Pro Bowl

Make it a kick ball game. Would be more entertaining and less likely for injury. I hear there's a guy in Carolina pretty good at putting those together.

it's silly how little interest there is in this game and how much risk it is for players and teams. i always think back to the gimmick they pulled having the rookies play football in literal sand. robert edwards was a 1,000 yard back as a rookie for the pats and tore his knee apart so bad they almost had to amputate. imagine not just the financial loss, but the opportunity loss. edwards could have been the feature back in tom brady's offense and he lost it all because the league puts on these boring, lifeless exhibition games. there should be no such thing as an exhibition football game.

Name All-Pros, do the skills challenges, dodge ball, etc, but the game is useless.

If the NFL was smart they would try having a pro bowl with flag football rules.....................and monitor how that goes over with both the players and the public.

With all the problems of injuries and concussions in the game it might be prudent to test the waters with a meaningless game of stars with such rules in place to test the waters and study that.........in order to have that option in their hip pocket as a possible alternative in the future, in case law suits and insurance company premiums threaten to end football as we know it. 

In fact this should be strongly considered being tested at the high school level...........

While it's hard to get injured in the powder puff game the Pro Bowl has become, why even risk it?

Get some rest, have some fun and be ready for the new year. He's going to have a totally new defense to lead.

That was a wise decision by Luke Kuechly to skip the meaningless,farce of a game that very few watch.The chance of an injury would be to great of risk for the very small reward.
