Yeah that comment he had was a desperate attempt to drive a narrative. Absolutely nobody defended that dude on this forum after a few weeks into the season

Those things are said in respect to performance after receiving a fat contract after performing well in a contract year. Matt Kalil never deserved the contract he got and was blasted as being a horrible signing from the beginning. Stop trying to make something out of nothing.

Which would be exactly the mental attitude you want from a guy who’s performance as a highly paid pro bowl tier player should set an example for rookies and other young players.

I’m the guy who said they must not watch us play and I only joined the huddle as a poster at the beginning of this past season, so connecting my comment to things said about Kalil when he was here is a false narrative because I was not a poster at the time. I could tell you that when we did have Kalil I thought he was garbage from beginning to end and didn’t like the signing because it seemed like a hugely expensive long shot to pan out, but either way you can’t connect my comment to things said about Kalil at the time because I wasn’t “one of those same people”. I literally wasn’t here yet.

Defensive ends and defensive tackles must have voted heavily for Trai. Man, he had a year that looked like he was napping during half the game and thinking about snacks the other half. The guy plays like his wallet got too heavy and he's all tired from carrying it around.
