Big Ben is out for the season and no one bats an eye. Andrew luck misses an entire season due to injury and no one question his starting position or job security. Cam newton goes on IR for the first time in his career and suddenly he needs to be traded.

Ben Roethlisberger will be turning 38 in March, and he is currently the highest paid quarterback in all of the NFL behind only Russell Wilson.

Doesn't matter who we decide will be the future quarterback of the Carolina Panthers in the next few years. What is for certain is when we find him he will inevitably, and certainly be paid accordingly amongst the top of his position when the time comes if he is good at what he does. Fans who can't handle that aren't going to make it through the long haul of these next several years.

I'm sorry but Cam has been hurt/injured for 4 years running. That is a significant injury history. Cam hasn't been healthy since his MVP 2015 and hasn't looked anywhere near as consistently dominant since which is concerning as well.

Ok then, "missing games".

Neither Luke or Cam will make it out of the other side of the rebuild trade em for what you can.

rather nonsensical to trade them IMO unless someone is offering a huge haul OR one/both want out.  I don't expect either to happen.

both of those guys are going to be great influences on young players.  Cam was a huge help to Allen & Grier, very supportive, and clearly would b e a benefit to have around a young developing team as we move forward, assuming it is what he wants etc.  Luke practically calls the defense and since we are going back to a 4-3, MLB is even more important.
