Big Ben is out for the season and no one bats an eye. Andrew luck misses an entire season due to injury and no one question his starting position or job security. Cam newton goes on IR for the first time in his career and suddenly he needs to be traded.

Luck is WHY people feel a trade is in order. Ben is a much better QB than Cam and they didn’t revamp their coaching staff....these are just poor arguments.

I hope Cam comes back but I’ll understand if he’s traded and we go in a new direction. Both actually make a lot of sense.

a (relatively) healthy Cam Newton was 6-2 by mid 2018 and in the conversation for MVP.  If his shoulder holds up, and if he makes it back from his foot surgery, why would we expect different now?

That is a great point.  There is no speculation regarding Big Ben.  I am sure he plans to return. 

Andrew Luck was never expected to return.

Cam isn’t like Ben or Luck. He’s not your “prototypical” qb who always says the right things and dresses like an NFL qb should dress. And unfortunately there are idiots on the Huddle who hold this against him. 
 

He could be inducted into the HOF and these morons would be like “bu...bu...but he dressed funny”.
