Falcons check list and how it relates to the Panthers

our chances are very slim....But....There's a chance.

And that's what 95% of people on this board are saying, dude. Nobody is puffing their chest out guaran-damn-teeing a win. Not too sure what you're reading. We're simply aware that we're a good match up to UPSET them right now, and we're being positive about it.

And btw, the Falcons doing "everything in their power" to win, as you say, shows you just how beatable the Saints are when it comes to a divisional game. Had White held on to that TD pass, who knows what else would've happened. Had they run more and took it out of Ryan's hands, who know's what would've happened.

You need to grow a set and not be scared of the Saints. Any other team in any other division is scared of the Saints. But we see them twice a year and know what they're going to do before they do it...just as they know what we will do on the field.

It'll be a great game.

Saints have been playing great, up til now. But as a Panthers fan, we well know how quickly things can go south! All the Saints have proven so far is that they will finish at least 7-9! Maybe it'll be 8-8 after this week, maybe not...that's why they play 'em on the field and not on the message boards.

My last post takes having a set the way our team was playing. They're XXL now...

Those who forget history are only doomed to repeat it....

Good luck. NOT!

blitz pickup has to improve. i don't know how much the panthers blitz and how that would relate to them. we can just chip peppers.

Just chip Peppers? He may just jump over that chip, or eat it. Seriously tho, this is a good time to play the Saints. I am feeling good about our defense and we have had our way with them, but this is by far their best squad ever and if u believe in Steve Young, chalk them up for an undefeated season. We will have to make plays on them instead of them on us like we did last week. We will have to pass more than 14 times to win, but w/o Moose and Rosario, 14 was enough, hopefully they come back next week. The Saints D does give up a lot of yards, but they make up for it with turnovers with points. It seems like they have scored on D in every game so far. Thomas and Bell run mean, and I hope we focus on that

Do you even pay attention. First off I never, ever said we won the south yet. Now lets see new D Co. who has posted like 9 top 10 defense in the past 10 years. Two new CB's in Greer and Porter. Greer gave up his first TD last night on a mugging by White. D Sharper who just so happens to lead the league in INT's. His play has lead to much improved play by Harper. Will Smith and Grant are healthy. Ellis, although hurt, has a year under his belt and was stuffing the run. A highly ranked run offense. Colston healthy, Bush healthy, Shockey healthy. Should I go on or do you need to pay better attention to your competition.

As I said: Those who forget history are doomed to repeat it.

You think you'll sweep the Panthers? You play us again.

I disagree. The Saints are 7-0, coming off two so-so performances and hosting a team that has beaten them six straight times at home (or is it seven?) and swept them last year. I think New Orleans will be primed for the Panthers. The best time to play them would be coming off an emotional win, not one where they almost blew it and will have the coaches yelling in their ear on film day.

Again you need to pay better attention. I never said we would sweep you guys. Heck I never said we would beat you this week. See I may be a fan but one thing am not is fanatical (: marked by excessive enthusiasm and often intense uncritical devotion) Unlike you I know for a fact that over the past two weeks we have been lucky to get the wins because when you turn the ball over that much you usually lose but in the end good teams can overcome those types of situations. That is the reason I know that we have one of the top three teams in the league with the other two being Minn. and Indy. You want to know what I fear as a Saints fan. Not losing to you this week because if that does happen it will only make us better. I fear going 10 and 0 than losing three out of four to the Pats, Boys and Falcons. Than we would be following the pattern of last years Titans who were exposed in the playoffs. Unlike them though we have an excellent QB, offense and offensive minded aggressive coach that can keep us in a game even if the D completely breaks down. Given all that in my mind we should be the favorite to represent the NFC in the SB but that does not mean anything in week 7. I want to be the champion on Feb. 7, 2010 not on Nov. 3, 2009. Trust me Panther fan I know the history and I am sure the Saints do to...So tell me who does that favor? I would say we are due for one against you all at home and we will probably win a close one (28-21) but your cats could pull it out easy if we keep giving up the ball like we have the past two weeks. If that stops there is no way you are good enough at this point in the season to go toe to toe with our offense with Jake playing like he has been lately. If he comes alive we got a game. If not we blow you all out, barring T.O.'s, as revenge for all the past times you got us a home.

I hope you understand my position now. If not you are probably some 12 year old who needs to find something better to do with his time.
