I’ve always been impressed with Rhule.  Even back in his Temple days, they were a freaking tough team that would bloody your nose.  Today is no different.  Loved what he had to say.

And he turned both Temple and Baylor into contenders with a weak roster. That doesn't support any analytical trends at all.

From what? Kinda hard to run anything in the ground if it's already there. JR made sure the wheels were off when he sold it.

I found that his lack of willingness to commit to Cam is telling.  He said he liked the fact that he talked about the future.   If I were a big Cam supporter and wanted him here come hell or high water, I might be concerned or indifferent.  Surely not encouraged.  Some hear what the want to hear, call it a fact, and then use it to attack other., more informed opinions. 

I think the fact that there is no endorsement of Cam is smart--let's wait and see.  They had to ask, and they got a non answer.  Surely he was not going to say anything negative, so he would either praise him or stay neutral.  He stayed neutral.

A good psychiatrist might ask him, "Were you surprised that Cam talked about the future and not the past?"  A new coach, the future is what you should talk about.  It seems odd that you found that to be perhaps unexpected.  Was that revealing that the coach thinks Cam is in the past and talk of the future was bit unexpected?  (No way to tell, but it was a bit odd)

People overreacting to the Cam response. He basically said he doesn't know him or watched him as a player yet. He said he didn't know any of our players besides DJ Moore.

But given his "long term" approach I wouldn't be shocked if he decided to move on. If we going to build this for the longterm it's kind of hard to see how Cam will fit in that picture. Cam is a win now QB not a rebuild project.

Just my speculation I think we move on from Cam. I Hope im wrong though.
