So what did we learn tonight?

i really wish they'd had that terrible game against the run next week instead of tonight.

williams will go in to fix that specifically, and even though their OLBs are garbage, surely they can be taught to get in the way when they're covering the back end on counters.

all those 20 yard runs by turner tonight would have been TDs by Stewart or Williams.

Hopefully getting Fujita back will help(if he is back). We've had two different replacements for him the last two games and they've both been awful.

Toss it up for grabs? You mean the one pick he had where Grimes skyed for a 50-inch vertical jump to make on of the top 10 plays of the year?

I believe he's talking about the passes he completed while throwing into double coverage. Anyway, hasn't Brees turned the ball over a few times in the last 3 games or so? I know he had at least two against Atlanta, though one of them was a fumble.

it didn't work for the falcons or dolphins

It might not work for us either, but I do believe our running game and our defense is better than the Falcons right now, and you guys didn't exactly blow them out. I love the fact that the national media is assuming that this will be an easy win for the Saints too. You can bet your ass that Fox will use that to his advantage if it's at all possible.

So WhodatJorts is basically saying the Saints are unbeatable because they haven't loss yet. Yeah how has that logic worked out for all the teams in the past that were undefeated to this point? History isn't on your side. You will likely be beat eventually even if its by a lesser team.

I'd say this is pretty accurate. Odds are REALLY high (not insurmountable--see New England--but really high) against any team making it through an entire NFL season with an unblemished record. So those odds say that you're correct, and the Saints "will likely be beat eventually".

As for the second part of the statement...well, that one's pretty obviously correct as well...since all the Saints will be playing this season are "lesser team(s)". LOL

I never said the saints are unbeatable.

In fact, i don't think we will remain undefeated.

Nice try anyway.

Pressure on Brees and a running game = Saints 35, Falcons 27. Or Saints 46, Dolphins 34. Last night it = 25 for 33 (75.8%), 308 yards, and 2 TDs. Look before you post.

Again, you will lose eventually. Every game isn't the same that's why we play them.
