Hey post the call to gettleman where he tried to match the deal. Not a good sign. Almost like this backfired on rhule. Then Giants panicked and signed a chode. Something is up with McDaniels and you can smell it from a mile away. Either has a deal with cleveland or belicheck is leaving

Rumors last week were Rhule was Teppers #1 target but none of us thought we could land him.

 

McDaniels and the rumored OC he has lined up are from the Cleveland area fwiw

i do like where his head is at as far as where he wants to take the team to modernity. But he’s coming across like he wants to be a personality or big name in the owners circle. That’s not for me from an owners standpoint.

Mcdaniels was also teppers number 1 as of yesterday supposedly. Rhule also said it was giants or baylor. Basically we overpaid and rhule was caught off guard. I hear good things, hes got three years

Said it elsewhere: I'm hoping this works out, but if we heard that Dan Snyder or Jerry Jones had just thrown 70 million at a "big name" college coach with no NFL experience, we'd all be laughing our asses off.

Correct 

You answered the 2nd part with your first part.

Rhule had been rumored the # target, then no one expected him to go anywhere else than NY.  Thus all of a sudden McDaniels became the the hot name and rumored top target.

 

 

Then Tepper went ahead and ran the interview and opened his wallet plus met the demands from Rhule (sportscience thing).  Then eveything changed.
