Just because he hasn't earned yours, doesn't mean he won't command theirs.

Pretty obvious from the multitude of negative posts you've placed re this hire that you are not happy with his hiring.. Maybe you preferred somebody else?  Whatever.  I say let's give him a chance to earn Tepper's big pay.  The motivational stuff will only turn off slackers.

ehh it's a legit concern with college crossovers. schiano and to an extent harbaugh are shining examples of great college coaches whose billy badass routines resonate with nineteen year olds but don't age well in NFL locker rooms.

Before you continue with your crusade against this hire..

It's a little hard to give you credibility when that simple distinction escaped you..

from everything we've heard about Rhule though, he is not a bully / badass, but the opposite.  A lot of interviews talk about him being very personable with his team etc

I don’t trust a college coach that’s that. Tepper is really hedging his bets on this one. I don’t want to end up in a Chip Kelly situation who is exactly like this guy reminds me of.

How so?  And how would he hedge A $70 MILLION  bet?  Can't get an insurance policy on a bad coaching hire.
