He will be welcomed with open arms and I am excited to see the future. I’m glad we are moving on from the John Fox/Rivera era with an offensive minded coach

I don't get this "offensive minded" stuff.  He has been the HC of teams driven by defense....not offense.

he going to come and play the same type complimentary football (goal of ball control) we have spent the last 2 decades watching.

Yeah

Now that, that happened

While many football and NFL experts talk it up as a homerun etc.

But some huddle experts say he bad, he a college coach etc so he must be terrible

How dare we hire him over a coordinator who has never playcalled

Or How dare they hire him over a Harvard grad who some in the fan base want ua to take him away from them.

Huddlers>NFL Writers, Scouts, and experts

Okay now do McDaniels

This is important info.

I totally agree with this.. That was a great little titbit.. He didn't get rid of players on a losing team (like alot of coaches do example Gurden)he just coached them up and put them in a system that made them winners.. I like that..

How dare we hire him over a

A. A Bill Bellicheck disciple (which has had as bad a rep as college coaches)

B. A retread, (again Something Else people complained about)

He might be a good coach but literally nothing screams “stud” lol

Exactly. In fact there is far more data and history that suggests that most coaches going from college to pro struggle or fail. There is a learning curve.

I am cautiously optimistic.

Oh there will be a learning curve. Most of this board will jump ship after 3 bad games. I’m looking at what he can do in 3 years. The biggest concern is still Hurney but we’ll see what happens.

Was he a Panthers scout though? Cause if he was.....I got bad news for you.....

Who knows.

But there are TONS of NFL writers, Media, former players, scouts, etc the list goes on.  Who are glowing about this.

If you believe all these people are wrong but some huddlers on here are right.  You need to pull your head out of the sand.

LOL. Slow down, buddy. I am just making a joke about our poor talent evaluation. I am neither excited nor upset over Rhule. Just waiting and seeing.
