Gettleman appologists believing this crap is hiliarious

What's more hilarious is that people still care.

The only storyline that interested me about this offseason in New York was if Rivera and Gettleman reunited. I was mildly interested if Rhule went there, but now there's nothing interesting about it anymore.

For those that still wanna act like jilted exes, feel free.

And yet it took you less than 5 minutes to defend his hire

They can’t let him go, or accept the fact that he’s not as good as they thought.

Judge wasn’t even on our radar, so how are we being played

99% of Gettleman threads are started by his haters.

I've read a lot about Judge because he was tied to McDaniels. Word was he had a college head coaching job waiting if he wanted it.

Reality is we don't know how either of these hires is going to work out. But in the case of the Panthers hire, it actually matters to this fanbase.

Judge was actually considered to be a really good candidate.

And hey, special teams coaches have been known to work out as head coaches.

That's definitely what they say.  John Harbaugh was a special teams coach.  They said Andy Reid gave him a pseudo position coach title (DB coach?) to make him a little more desirable as a HC candidate, and it worked.  They say that former special teams coaches (like Bill Belichick) are unique in that they are the only guys besides the HC that have to deal with every "room" on the team in some capacity (QB, RB, WR, TE, OL, DL, LB, DB), so they get to understand how to deal with all of the different personalities and whatnot.
