What this hire says is that the New York Giants is not that attractive or appealing from the outside! I believe working with gettleman turned off some candidates as well!

Seriously, this could be the guy to really turn Cam back into that silhouette of a logo he had early on, that guy. Turn him loose let him play football without fear. Block for that man. Block for McCaffrey. We can run all he wants.

Rhule actually knows Gettleman from his time with the Giants and has spoken previously about having a great deal of respect for him.

He also called New York and gave them a chance to match the Panthers offer. They didn't.

So yeah, your take is stupid.

Offensively I think our biggest problem is that we haven't allowed Cam to play in more traditional formations . RPO does work when Cam is healthy but it is also predictable. I can recall all our passes at times being the same thing over and over. Screen, PA, or RPO.  I think Ron's biggest failure with Cam is not continuing the path that Chud had him on his rookie year. He ditched that and went for the quickest path to success and went RPO to save his own ass. Sure we got to the SB but it got Cam beat up.
