Wade Phillips released by the Rams

Seeing as people have mentioned him as a good DC for us, thought this news was worth sharing.

He (his defense) had a rough year this year, but his overall history as a DC is great. I think he would be a good "get". I just wonder about us and the 34 defense.

Firing a coordinator as scapegoat is a tried and true play out of the HC who just had a bad season. Phillips is still a good coordinator. I say grab him.

he was pretty much the main dude responsible for dashing the panthers superbowl hopes in 2016 and that at least qualifies him for a 2 year stint and possibly more
