Between draft/FA, how many new linemen do they need?

For offensive line I would say 3. Center and LG to replace Paradis and Van Rooten. RG to challenge Trai Turner. I think we should give Greg Little and Dennis Daley some time to develop and learn under a new OL coach.

For defense I would say 4. We need at least two DTs. KK, Poe, McCoy, and Love are all up there in age. Finally, who on this roster can play 4-3 DE at a high level if we switch?

Due to contracts and the lack of post-June 1st cut options this year, Turner and Paradis are practically guaranteed to be on the roster next season. I really do think we need competition at center regardless. I think the most likely candidates for that competition are Larsen or a potential draft pick. Gotta hope Turner can return to form next year under a new staff. He's only 26. Will Daley move to LG?

Per usual though, LT is the giant elephant in the room. Is Little the answer or do we need to go shopping again?

We need to Luol Deng Paradis.  Just eat the money.  He was so incredibly bad and C is critical.

You need a NT and his backup, Short's backup, and a bigger DE and maybe even his backup too.

On offense you need a LG (or a backup depending on Daley), swing tackle (or LT depending on Little), backup C.  Can get away with a C prospect that can be played at LG in year one and a swing tackle.

So probably 6 at a minimum.

The biggest knock on Greg Little was that he lacked NFL strength.  He has the frame and quickness, but lacks physicality.  A lot of people said that if we have him a year in the weight room, he could be a starter.  I am not giving up on Little yet. Really want to see what he can do in year 2.

Does the concussion thing bother you?

(won't lie; it bothers me)

Good topic I feel like you were referring to the O-line with that said we need one maybe two. I believe we have a LT between the two rookies but we need a Center more then anything. A center and LG our essential to our success if we can snag two upgrades at those two positions our O-line should be above average. Play calling and scheming would allow us to really be a offensive productive team.

I don't think it's prudent to expect to obtain more than 2 immediate starters from the draft. Given Cam's situation, I'm more likely to view prioritizing correcting the oline as an urgent matter, letting the dline slide/back burner, stopgap measures if need be. While I do think both Daley and Little could both still pan out, neither demonstrated conclusively that we should go into next season expecting either to be a quality starter, therefore I view Left Tackle as the greatest need on the oline. I favor drafting Paradis's replacement in the 2nd or 3rd and letting that player play guard as a rookie and then slide to center after next season when cutting Paradis doesn't incur oodles of dead money. With any luck, this approach could see us with a solid oline forming up for season after next, depending on variables such as whether Turner is able to return to form, Little and or Daley pan out, and how one or two drafted rookies perform.

With the D line, I'm more inclined to take an approach of using later round picks on developmental prospects combined with short term FA signings, but being realistic that we probably don't have the resources to make the D line anything but not horrible at most for next year. If we are able to get the Oline corrected over the next 12 months and feel we have a solid unit to protect Cam or his successor going into the 2021 season, then we could start to place emphasis on the D line.

I doubt the team overreacts to the Line play like the huddle has to be honest.

They need a DL, but that has as much to do with where we are at contractually beyond next season as much as anything. Unless something falls into their lap offensively, I imagine a modestly competent investment into the interior OL. Probably look for depth so that injuries can't wreck us like they did this season.
