You’re stuck in the 90’s it’s 2020 everything in this world has been drastically improved he’ll be fully healed once he steps on the field that’s not a issue.

He’s the best QB in the draft if you watch college football.

Yup or or just my opinion I’d let Cam play out this year with Tua behind him learning getting fully healthy with nfl money behind him it’s a win win for us all.

Deshaun Watson has two ACL tears prior to being drafted was it worth it for the Texans if a QB couldn’t beat out the other options at OSU I’d say him staying healthy has to do with not even being good enough to take a starting job which keep him sidelined which helped him stay healthy lol.

Your probably right, if anything I am stuck in the 80’s. The comparison for Bo was about the injury because Tua and Bo had the same injury. Alabama has one of the greatest offensive lines in college football and Tua couldn’t hold up. Tua trying to come back from that injury, not being a threat to run, and possibly limited mobility, is a danger. We will all know more during the combine. Right now, it is a no for me, realizing we still need help at QB. Too high a price for a gamble, my feeling is he will slide during draft night.

Mel Kiper can't tell time with a watch on.

Helen Keller would have been a better home plate umpire than Kiper is a draft "expert."

What?

So you have no frame of reference here, Donny. You're like a child who wanders into the middle of a movie and wants to know...

You mean the guy who has him going 4th in his mock draft a month after that list? McShay dropped him after the injury but knows he will go top 5. Anything else.

LOL ok fine, you can take him in your top five. I’ll leave him off of mine! LOL

Is that a good thing or no? The positive being Brees with his accuracy and leadership.

What Brees doesn't have- size, mobility, arm strength.

I see what Kiper is saying -- this time.  Remember the Dolphins had a shot at Brees.  I bet they do not pass on their shot to get Tua.   He had the injury at SD they thought would be career-ending.  Same situation, sorta. Both are mobile, small, accurate, etc.  Watch some Brees film from Purdue and it makes sense.   I am not sure he was comparing him to 40-year old Brees--

The point being, why waste time referencing Kiper?

The Dude: "Yeah, well, that's just, like, your opinion, man."

I ran into him about a month ago and sat next to him at a restaurant.

I was joking about being stuck in the 90’s because he was injured in 91 and out technology wasn’t anywhere close to where it’s at now. I do think he may slide and I agree it’s a high price we’ll see on a few months.

We are talking about this year. Which I posted already. There a reason his carries went down. He wasn’t good at it. Why is there such a big difference. How many games did he run more than 2 designed runs? Or One? With sacks there ain’t enough to call him a running QB.

You spend your 1st round pick on a red shirt guy, you're sacrificing 2020 anyway. Trade down, get a 2021 1st, sure up the offensive and defensive lines in 2020 and then go after a QB in 2021.

It’s not sacrificing 2020, Cam’s still on the roster. As long as Cam is healthy, we won’t be in a position to draft Lawrence or Fields.

Draft Tua. Let him get healthy and learn behind Cam.

A bunch of Ron Riveras in this thread. Ron got fired bc he was too afraid of losing to win. You gotta risk it to get the biscuit! A lot of people thought Brees would not come back from his injuries and be a top quarterback. The upside on Tua is worth the risk.

Great Analysis, I’d give you extra pie just for the disclaimer!

Thank you sir.  I posted some bad predictions I had made over the years on another thread (point?  I am not going to get upset about the coach until I have a reason because I am wrong a lot) and some Huddlers with an incomplete set of chromosomes tried to attack me using my own confessions against me--suggesting that I am not always right--on a post that I made where I shared how often I am wrong.  I can't make this up. There are so many people here who offer little to the discussion--they simply want to attack what others say--I love an intelligent debate, the operative word here being "intelligent."  Thanks again.
