Update: Tua entering NFL draft

I’d take him at 7 if his injury checks out and that should be known pretty well by the draft. Then you start Cam this year and if he’s healthy and balls out you can trade one of the two of them for a large haul.

I wouldn’t take him at 7, if we do shitty next season we can easily get fields or Lawrence and they both have a higher ceiling than Tua

Chuck picked a lousy time to have a meltdown.

At least we don't have to get spammed with that same clapping gif over and over.

I dunno.  Right after the fresh ban, a brand new member with suspect name has appeared posting right where he left off.  Are IP Bans an actual thing?  It's years overdue.

I think he's going to be good.  Injury prognosis was good and deemed minimal so he should be back working out in March/April.  I'm just really interested on what happens with him.  As Darth said, the skills are complete.  "From what they've seen in New York, everything looks good" but he said he'll know for sure come March so teams will know pre-draft.

I don't have a hard opinion one way or another on our path forward on the QB front but if we can get him, the sheer value is incredible and we still keep Cam.  We can still stock up on lineman in 6 other rounds and the FA.

Having a franchise QB and his heir apparent on a roster is a franchise's dream. I would take it in a heartbeat.

If I’m the Panthers, I move up and draft, then let him sit behind Newton until he’s fully healthy. Then nailed-on starter from ‘21 onwards.

In a weird way, it’s probably in Panthers best interest if he’s still kind of hurt but not too badly.

Totally.  I personally like the BPV route in round 1 over need and BPA.  Of course it's all in consideration of needs but if you grab a guy that could be a cornerstone, the added value is immense and it just gives you so much more breathing room for retooling a franchise.  The Lions are likely licking their chops for a trade partner about now.  Now, I don't know if we're the team to do it, but this just makes things really interesting.
