It's not entirely too far fateched. Not my favorite comparison but it's there. There's a reason Mariota went 2 overall coming out.

Tua is insanely accurate. Mariota has always had this as an issue. They didn’t  play in anything close to similar systems, and Mariota never had injuries in college. 
 

  Tua is a pocket passer. Mariota never was. Who compared the two? Ever? And how did they justify it? I can’t think of any QBs that are less like Tua than MM.

I think he's going to be good.  Injury prognosis was good and deemed minimal so he should be back working out in March/April.  I'm just really interested on what happens with him.  As Darth said, the skills are complete.  "From what they've seen in New York, everything looks good" but he said he'll know for sure come March so teams will know pre-draft. 

I don't have a hard opinion one way or another on our path forward on the QB front but if we can get him, the sheer value is incredible and we still keep Cam.  We can still stock up on lineman in 6 other rounds and the FA.
