That’s a nice article, @RoaringRiot. Very comprehensive.

Have something similar we’re working on for Bieniemy. I’ve had a chance to speak to a few former teammates and coaches. Fascinating journey.

Also have a Film Room piece dropping this week on Andy Reid’s WCO, and what it could translate to here in Carolina.

That's been going on since the game was invented.  What separates the good from the bad is as you say knowing when to use it.

It’s a copy cat league ha. The Phili special, Chip Kelly’s blur, jet sweeps, zone blitz.

the best coaches though know when to hold em and know when to fold em ha

who knows who DC would be

I have to say it, if you have ever played golf, and had the misfortune of having aging frat boys playing in the group in front of you playing the tips instead of the forward tees, that’s the MO I have of McDaniels

That was good write up. Seems all very positive to me.

McDaniels loves using personnel to scheme things up and create mismatches and getting guys open..

hes probably salivating at the opportunity to use Cristian McCaffrey

Add in DJ and Samuels on the outside...  We could have a lot of fun with our offense this season if the passing game centers around mismatches.  We have several of those!  This is also assuming that Ian Thomas makes a big step, regardless of Greg Olsen's decision.

I really love the idea, and I hope that McDaniels has learned from his past mistakes.
