We are still waiting for Fake Plasitic Golf Tees to enter our predictions into his database and share the printout that gives him the best chance for success.  Of course, this is merely fact-based speculation.

It feels as though all of the game spreads are too high this week, but we are tasked with  picking winners irrespective of spreads. While I think Seattle was a better team than the Packers for most of the year, their current running back injuries likely mean the lesser team wins at home. Furthermore, inflated spreads notwithstanding I have to stick with the home teams to win outright. Also, it feels as though the winner of the Minnesota v. SF game is ticketed for the Super Bowl regardless of the Seattle v. GB winner.

Can't help wondering if something wild will happen in one of these games. There are certainly plenty of years where the divisional round is off the wall.

Back in 2003, the rest of the games were supposed to be competitive but it was believed the Rams would slaughter us. If I recall correctly, the other games ended up being blowouts or easy wins and our game was the only one that actually turned into a real contest.
