To me, the whole premise of this thread relies on the fact that Little and our current receivers suck. Even as one who would've loved to pick Metcalf (and would've picked Deebo Samuel in the second), I do not yet believe in that premise.

Agreed. Just having a Left tackle just to have one isnt the same as having an elite talent period. How much better off are we after drafting little if were talking about drafting another one this season that's my point.

I guess many Panthers fans have just lost their patience.

It's kind of a difference in philosophy. The Steelers have been patient in letting time run its course with their HCs and have like 6 Super Bowls. The Browns have no patience--even running who many consider the greatest coach of all time out of town---and don't have any Super Bowls.

Drafting WR is marginal upgrade, would sit on the bench or split targets with Moore.  Compare that to filling a hole on starting line, where we need a starter right now.

Marginal upgrade? This team still lacks redzone receivers. The big bodied guy that wins one on one contested situations kind of how the Vikings ended there game yesterday... yes feeling a hole is great but just pouring nothing into a position of need isnt helping because we still talking oft drafting a left tackle this season. So the point is were we better off forcing little or taking a clearly better talent and long term investment in said players.

Wish we could’ve gotten Cody Ford and Gardner-Johnson. fug it even CJGJ over Grier’s bum ass would’ve been enough. Can’t blame Little for not staying healthy. Drafting Grier was the ultimate Jerruh/Marty BS in an era where we were supposed to move on from that style of franchise. Can’t reach for a player because “he’s a nice kid with a nice family from Charlotte”

Every single team can look at the draft board a year or two after any draft and find players who are performing better than the one they took.

For once though I want to be the team where we say man that was a good pick not we could of had...

The Steelers don’t have patience for losing. One losing season in the last 20 years. They hold coaches/GM and players accountable. They don’t make excuses for everything that goes wrong.

You think that Hurney would be employed by the Steelers with his resume. Much less get rehired. Or Rivera with his?

That is exactly how I want Tepper to construct the Panthers.  I don't care if it takes 4 years of winning less than 4 games each to do so, as long as that's the goal.

I'm ready for consistency, not a roller coaster of a team.
