One of my favorite scenes from the movie "A few dollars more" ........After winning a hand of poker with a guy he thinks is the criminal he is looking for---------- "Didn't hear what the bet was?"  Clint Eastwood spits out a piece of his cigar and glares at him in a deep voice "Your life".

Teams are winning and going to the playoffs with 40 year old QBs and you guys are wanting to give up on a 30 year old Cam Newton.

fug outta here with that bullshit.

This.  Who knows how many years Cam has got left in him with an improved offensive line and another Wide Receiver.  We are set at RB with McCaffrey and personally one great WR away from having a pretty good crew.  I think Thomas will shine next year with how well Cam was throwing before he got hurt last season.  We are not getting Burrow...not sure why people act like we a chance of getting him.  Lets focus on other needs of the team and see how Cam pans out next season.

Go back to the original post where I SAID clearly  " I dont want to trade for a qb" this is just a hypothetical, I mean I do have a Cam Newton picture as my avatar I cant make it any clearer my stance.

Since somebody mentioned Wirfs, dude is a beast on the right side, but I would want to project him to the left. In watching his tape, he's a bit stiff and almost too thick in the legs.  He can't be bull rushed, but being so bulky from the waist down limits his slide.  If he could lay off the squats (literally has tree trunks for legs) and work on agility drills, I think he can be a franchise LT.

If you look at the actual players drafted, Ditka got the best of the deal-debatable, but the Skins did nothing with the picks.

FWIW:

1999 Washington GM:  Charley Casserly

2000 Washington GM:  Bruce Allen
