Yeah, was going to add to that that I'd feel bad for Perry to not get an interview. But unfortunately for him it stinks of a respect interview and not meant to really lead anywhere.

If they were to agree to terms with McDaniels, nothing would stop them from holding off on the announcement.

Or they could just tell Perry, "sorry man, this is the guy we want".

He is.  Pretty sure Perry Fewell actually wouldnt quality for it.  Due to it being an internal hire/promotion.

I have been so focused on McDaniels, I completely forgot about Bieniemy. I think Bieniemy needs another year or two as a coordinator, my opinion.

So I am assuming it is down to McDaniels and Stefanski. I am a fan of either. I would think Bieniemy isn't the guy since we haven't hired him after two interviews and are so aggressively trying to interview others.

Imma say this, The Panthers hiring McDaniels as HC is the most far left thing i have seen from this organization since they drafted Cam almost 10 years ago.... even tho i wanted Cam anyway.  Its been bumpy but overall the most fun 10 year ride since the team was founded. I will hope for the same thing with McDaniels.
