For those having doubts about Ron and Tepper

Let's remember why Cam is hurt so bad... He subjected Cam to 4 meaningless games... excuse me, 4 games that required 3 ties by other NFL teams for us to make the playoffs, with a freaking shoulder injury that could be career ending... But Cam refused to get off the field, well Ron is the HC, but has to listen to Cam on everything. 2017 everything went well with the temporary fix surgery fast forward to 2018... Cam gets another surgery and comes out and plays well... We start 6-2 and the arm goes downhill... instead of doing the right thing and pulling him, we finish 7-9 with a Cam Newton who has been beaten to hell... Kyle Allen likely wins 3-4 of those last games and we finish 10-6 or 11-5 with a wild card berth. Another thing that stuck out, Henike was 2nd and KA was 3rd and we saw the difference in talent there... KA is hated by a lot today, but let's remember he did enough to win in the superdome just in November and had us on the goal line to tie at Lambeau, he is at the very worst a backup. For those saying he doesn't even deserve that, go watch the wild card game we played in 2014 against Arizona and get back to me.

How can any doubts be had about Ron when he likely had a large part of possibly ending Cam Newton's career? Let Cam Newton tell Sean Payton he is playing that hurt in a meaningless game and see how that goes... Mike Mccarthy played Aaron Rodgers hurt vs us in 2017, but their chance at the playoffs was larger then 0.02%. Let's be real here, Jerry Richardson's goal was never to win a Super Bowl... the psl system made sure 90% of his tickets were sold and sponsors bought the rest of the tickets for TV and to "preserve the sellout streak." When Kyle Allen was 5-1 as the starter, I started to come to question not Cam Newton, but his fit in Ron's system. One thing I hear NOBODY talk about, we attempt to turn Cam into a pocket passer to keep him from getting hit, but it almost seems to do the opposite. The threat of a qb draw almost helps prevents sacks and Cam is at least able to slide. To me, Cam has gotten hit more with running less... These are the kind of analytics Mr. Tepper is talking about, but as Ron showed in his press conference, everything came in one ear and out the other. It is doubtful Ron is hired in Washington as quick as he was without Tepper firing him so both can get a quick start. How many fired HC's get press conferences? David Tepper had the upmost respect for Ron, but like everyone else saw, the message was stale to these players after 9 years...

The biggest thing that bothers me about Ron was in 2018 when the year started, we had C.J Anderson (who scored our only TD the first game) and CMC and C.J got barely any snaps. Heck, CMC fumbled the first drive of the game and C.J still waited 2-3 more series for snaps. We then decided out  of the blue to cut C.J Anderson and take 100% of the cap hit anyway and had no viable backup for CMC... CJ Anderson then went on to go to LA and go to a Super Bowl. Whether or not the team like C.J's twitter antics, CMC did not need to be taking a 95% snap count when we had a guy who rushed for 1,000 the year prior. This was a Ron and Norv, decision. While everyone at BOA at the titans game was yelling MVP, I noticed a RB slow to get up after every carry... RBs don't make it far past 30 in this league with an average amount of carries... Imagine how long a guy as small as CMC will last with freaking 95 % snap counts... Fewell put a stop to this and Bonnafon began getting carries when Ron was fired, it is apparent where that whole mess stemmed from... It's amazing a coach auditioning for a job had enough care for his player not to completely run him into the ground... Ron could learn a thing or two from that, same crap he did to Cam, ran him till the tank hit E...

I don't think everyone completely understands how bad this organization was when Tepper got here where he even said "he did not realize how bad the business side of this organization was." We were firing people daily who clearly knew about this JR stuff and kept it clean. Ron had to have known what was going on, he was there every day, but he kept his mouth shut and kept honoring the man. So you have a business in shambles, a football team that just collapsed mid-season, and a GM that was brought in that was fired in the past that has mixed reviews. There was no way Tepper was firing a coaching staff and GM in 2018 with everything the way it was, Ron is what he is, but the players loved him and he run a clean disciplined football team, as bad as we were, Ron would've had us at 7-9 or 8-8 most likely if he finished the season. Now Ron is fired and now people are mad the GM was not fired at literally the worst time of year to fire a GM. Hurney's contract expires in May, what the hell is Tepper supposed to say, "He is a crappy scouter and he is only staying until May so we can get the Pittsburgh GM and save having to pay a contract buyout?" Then the fans have the audacity to trash the man for interviewing a guy who has a super bowl ring and had winning seasons 85% of the time in Green Bay.

Everyone hated Gettleman, but the reason we won with him is his ability to build depth everywhere, whenever someone got hurt, we had 2-3 guys that could step up and take his place. His biggest fail was not solidifying the offensive line... Marty Hurney's fail isn't the starters, it is the fact every time someone gets hurt, you notice. The Josh Norman fiasco also didn't help, 50% of our secondary retired and Josh Norman was asking 16 million a year, Gettleman didn't bite and let him go get paid... Everyone will go say pay the man and trash Hurney for overpaying players. Let's be real, Josh Norman was not taking that 2016 team from 6-10 to 12-4... P.S, Washington almost cut him last year. The man seems to have a great ability to identify talent, but apparently struggles to find people that are necessarily not the greatest and figure out their strengths and weaknesses to where our team can be successful. That honestly explains Hurney's weaknesses in the 2nd-7th round. When Short went down this year, everything fell apart. I don't know the details of Hurney's contract, but it was signed RIGHT BEFORE Tepper got there, it was a nice parting gift from JR along with that ugly statue (this is one of the main reasons I want a new stadium, and yes I have PSLS, I'll sacrifice my $3,000 to not have to see that thing lol). It could have some multi-million dollar buyout Tepper can avoid by waiting until May (Most potential GMs come available now anyway, this is right after the draft, conveniently when Pitts gm's does. Ultimately, Tepper is making the right moves, but everything is not built in a day.

south park beat a dead horse GIF

How is it beating a dead horse when people constantly keep saying firing Ron is a mistake? It's amazing how I'm beating a dead horse, when just 1 month ago, the whole 1st page of this forum was full of fire Ron threads. You sure as hell weren't posting Gifs then. A subject is only allowed to be discussed here if it fits the viewers agenda.

Wtf you wrote a novel to argue with who exactly?

Truly tldr.

Lol, I'd like to know your alma mater if you thought that was a novel. Write a few ten-twenty page assignments and write 3 full length books. I literally wrote that in 5 minutes. So I guess I'll just ignore the I hate tepper, Tepper is JR 2.0 posts, and we made a mistake firing Ron to fit your agenda. If you'd like me to make you look even more incompetent, I am more then happy to go quote some posts supporting that lol. You're blind if you think this board aint been posting that $hit. Just in November I asked a reasonable question about Cam and the salary cap and got slammed for asking a question nobody could quote somebody else asking, but they sure we're ok with ignoring the 5 fire Ron posts on the first page alone
