He signed with Buffalo in March of 2018 and no Hurney was the GM at the time. Word is that Star didnt want to stay and after using his 5th year option, the Panthers never approached him or his agent for an extension.

Less than on an actual contract. Poe was 3/30 Star was 5/50. The cap increase would have paid for Star. fug you Hurney. fug you!

I doubt any of the people in here touting how good Star is have watched more than 2 Buffalo Bills games

Pro Football Focus watches every single play and has him rated as one of the worst starting DTs in the NFL.  Anyone pretending they've watched extensive Bills film is trolling.

So yeah he's quite overrated.

Fuggin Hurney didn’t want to give Star one more year added to the deal. Star left and he signed Dontari Poe. Hurney has made some stupid signings and letting some players leave like Star and Harrison Butler.

I simply don't think Star wanted to be a panther. Hurney would have paid him and has done so before. I think he wanted to play for McD and not a BS DC.

2nd Star didn't want to be here anymore..

3rd Gettelmen made the decision it was Kk over Star when he signed KK.. Just like he did with Turner over the white buffalo..

4th Poe and Kk have rated better than Star plain and simple..
