That is your issue. It is entirely in the realm of possibility to put together intangibles, eyetests, and numbers to congratulate a player.

You're banking on someone saying he is a goat, which is a prophetic type of complement, and is really more of a complement to how he has played so far.

Do you know that?  If I say someone is a GOAT, then they have the career and stats to back it up.  I guess people throw GOAT around loosely now.  My bad.

Just like any other descriptive terms?

"This meal is the greatest meal Ive ever had" Do you really think that would be true if you heard someone exclaim that?

"The man who invented velcro shoes is a genius!" No, obviously not. But he created something for someone who viewed it as such.

Come on man, just put some common sense into these arguments. 

Someone who called him a GOAT, is obliviously speaking on his play tonight, and you are taking it a weird way.

People throw around superlatives for everything, and you are being argumentative for no reason. GOAT isnt the first.
