Man, Ron is really going all in on this Washington Panthers thing, huh?  Probably trying to show Tepper that his (Ron's) way really works.  Good luck, buddy.  Dan Snyder was right when he said he wanted the Skins to be his last coaching job.  Seeing how Ron is going about building his staff, that statement is about to become reality sooner than later.

I'll give you the assistants, but if he gets Shurmur as his OC, that's a pretty potent coordinator combination.

Valid point, although it won't matter much as Haskins is garbage at the QB position.  But I think Ron, too, notices this as he said in his presser that the QB position could be filled in by a vet.  Ron didn't realize how lucky he got inheriting a team with the #1 pick and a once in a generation talent like Newton sitting there at QB.

Ron might be the most stubborn coach in the NFL

Rivera confirmed that Mills actually had those duties for a few years before he was officially given the title.

I'm far from a fan of Rivera, but it is fair to point out those clock management issues did suddenly disappear once Newton was no longer under center.

That doesn't make Newton a bad quarterback or anything but it does make it kind of hard to blame Rivera for the game management problems.

it was actually ryan check the stats when he played the jets lead the league in delay of game penalties

Great great news. I know some are high in Matsko but after last season no one should be

Yes, because having injuries across the line is easy to overcome.

This isn't a surprise. Any good coach is going to take the best he already has a working relationship with.  I know that flies in the face of the BS pushed here on the huddle, but that is no surprise either.
