I made a thread about why Tepper would hire the Ivy league educated Stefanski a month ago, before he was even rumored to be linked with us in any way.

McCarthy/Bien/McDaniels/Rhule are not Tepper guys;  he's looking for a brilliant, analytical mind.   Stefanski is our guy if he takes our offer.

see:

David Tepper was famously known for only hiring Ivy League graduates at Appaloosa Management

makes sense....hire thee smartest dude you can find....success is surrounding yourself with smart people.  i mean you dont want a doctor operating on you that got a C+ in anatomy ...

The candidate pool the Panthers are working with right now is stellar. Bieniemy & McDaniels would be excellent gets, but in my mind Stefanski is the best of the bunch. Really exciting time to be a Panthers fan. Any of those 3 are going to be a huuuuuge upgrade over Rivera.

Hey by the way that's with a older Brady that has only Eldeman and not a great rb. I rest my case, maybe u should look at stats more before responding.

To be honest, the Patriots probably carry the least amount of household names that reach the Super Bowl every year. They utilize their current roster to make it work with their scheme. I don’t know much about the potential hires minus McDaniels who has proven to game plan against the other teams defense.  I think McDaniels would be the best HC out of the group.

def the best coordinator out of the group.   i have worries about him as hc, but am trying to warm to him since i think he's the choice.   i don't think we would have let the enemy out of the building if he's who we really wanted.

McDaniels is the best tactician out of the bunch for sure. My concern is how he would be as a HC. Some guys make excellent coordinators but suck as head coaches.

Fall back plan in case McDaniel either takes the Cleveland job or decides to stay in New England.  Smart, because reading between the lines, nobody who has interviewed is really in the running.

Maybe ...never been a McDaniel fan though...so pulling for Cleveland to help with that
