I wouldn't let a bunch of rumors factor into any of this.  Numerous reports out of Cleveland had Gerald McCoy joining the Brows up until he inked his contract here.  Some Browns "reports" were convinced it was a done deal, but McCoy suddenly became a Panther?  People just talking junk for attention, clicks etc...

I find ironic that people are pooing the idea of McDaniels because the Patriots are nothing but a 'bunch of cheaters'.  However, lets say a scenario occurs where the Patriots lose tomorrow and Kraft fires Belichick, you guys couldn't line up fast enough to get behind that hire.  You would probably want the GOAT, but not the GOAT's protege?  

In the mean time, you are falling all over yourselves for Andy Reid's flash-in-the-pan protege that doesn't even call the plays on game day...along with having arguably the most gifted QB in the League today.

cause historically belichick's coaching tree sucks worse than andy reid's. well especially this year.

Belichick and Brady  are great for real...they just happen to be proven cheaters. Also Kraft runs a great organization. If Kraft was a shitty owner, they dont have half the success. Then the rules changed in favor of Brady. Its so much that went right  for the Pats to become Pats...…..that's why ts hard to compare to them. They are an anomaly.

Really seems like its McDaniels to me... The fact we inquired about him last year, he wanted his own training staff(Ryan Vermillion gone) wants control(Tepper states coach will have control) can hire his own gm (two contracts up from the Patriots.) Also we haven't hired Bieniemy or McCarthy after two interviews. No reports they are favorites what so ever, when Albert Breer, Ian Rapaport and Adam Shefter have all said we love McDaniels. I don't know just seems as if a lot of signs are pointing too McDaniels. Now can we pry him away from the Browns????
