Won't piss me off, I hope it pisses all the ones that have a problem with it off and they leave to cheer for another team. Looks like we have a bunch of Ron Riveras for fans. Time to join the dark side.

I'm not joining any side and those people won't leave they will just piss and moan when we do bad.

McDaniel's isn't my favorite (I don't actually have one) but I don't think he'd "piss me off".

Honestly, I'm not sure any of them would piss me off, or particularly thrill me.

That wasn't for u, it's for the ones that keep wanting to bring up his past HC stint. Everyone changes and I think he would have a fire under him to want to do great this time.

I'll give him a shot, but just won't be excited.  Don't understand why people are now trying to make this a fan v. fan thing.  I won't piss and moan before we even play a game but being a message board and all have my preference prior to the hire happening.

Regardless of who we hire as a head coach, I have extremely low expectations for the next few seasons of Panthers football.

If Cam doesn't quite come back, totally.  It's contingent on him mo than anything.  Also have no idea how our defense is going to be reshaped.

Not a fan looking at his history but I won't just hate the hire and not hope for the best.  I just won't be excited.  He runs an E-P variation right? Could be interesting with Cam.

Yeah, it's an E-P system.

So hes bring the browns in to this to get more money form the Tepper? Goodluck with that, this is not close looking at the last 20 years. Plus the owners, what a joke doesnt even compare.

I wouldn't jump to that conclusion right away.  He is from Canton, Ohio.  Also some prior reports had Cleveland willing to give him complete power.

That was before Cleveland announced their new reporting structure today.

Analysts to examined it say it's not necessarily "McDaniels friendly".

While I have not been big on McDaniels, when it comes to redefining the franchise and being here for the long term, the idea of him and a Pats front office guy gives me more confidence.  Though I don't know who might be the guy to couple with Bieniemy or the others. It doesn't mean there isn't that guy out there.

I'm trying to figure out why people are so mad

You've had Ron Rivera as your coach for far too long, but can't give Josh a chance?

From what I've read, it tends to be some combination of the following...

- cheated in New England

- got caught trying to cheat in Denver

- made an ass of himself in Denver

- bailed on the Colts

- general personality

How valid those reasons are is up to the individual.
