The case for LT with pick 7

If they take a LT at 7 they are pretty much admitting they were wrong about Little, and if Hurney is still there they might not want to do that.

I wouldn't mind take a LT at 7, just don't reach for one.  You can't waste top 10 picks on gambles.

My general rule for 1st round, especially top of the first, is:

QBs

LTs

D-line (that can get to the QB)

CB (that can play man)

Everything else I can find later or cheaper in free agency.

That's why this guy has to be a #7 pick, I'm convinced Cam comes back with a giant boulder on his shoulder. This guy can destroy the qb from the edge along with burns coming off the same edge while taking on double teams. Or if it's a positive run play he can destroy a double team and run scheme freeing luke and shaq and might make the TFL.
