i just don't think cam is very science oriented.    i'm trying not to poke too much fun at him for his decisions with his shoulder before he realized magnets and crystals don't take the place of surgery

He doesn't need to be. His body is a 100m dollar corporation. The people around him his nutritionist hell I'm sure even the panthers give all their players nutritionist are science oriented.

I'm gonna say his diet is irrelevant to his injuries. I am not a nutritionist but having watched a few documentaries, I have learned that having a plant based diet is beneficial to your health. It was the basis for plenty of Greek warriors and Spartans in the military's diet as they all had to be vegans.

The human body isnt actual designed to eat and digest meat. Our digestive tracks are very long and carnivores who do eat meat their tracks are much short to hurry up and process the energy and get the negative toxins in meat out faster. How much more do you think you benefit from eating a steak vs eating say a salad? The fat and grease from say a steak cant be beneficial to your health. This thread is kind of dumb. Veganism is not a negative.

Gorillas are most certainly not vegan. They also eat rotting wood.

Gorillas also eat peeling and all. I always bust my vegan friends chops about feeding meat filled food to their pets while they eat bark and grass.

I can speak from personal experience. In January 2019, I was diagnosed with life-threatening diseases. In research, I found the best option to heal was to go vegan. I lost every bit of muscle I had and my hair fell out. I started eating meats again and quickly got muscles and my hair grew back.

You have been miss-lead. Nothing is wrong with piece of lean meat. Greek and Spartans didnt have the choice. Ask ANY strength coach about this, they know more than goggle-fu experts. Being Vegan is fine all you do is sit on your ass all day.

I’m not a professional athlete

These eggplant tree huggers telling Cam to not eat any protein are gonna end his career and cost us our franchise QB

Exactly.

Eggplant tree huggers? You can get just as much protein from a plant based diet as a diet with meat. Quinoa has all the essential amino acids that chicken or fish do.

However it has no B-12. You either have to eat seaweed or certain mushrooms(a lot of them). They breath oxygen too if your a vegan I recommend you quit killing them.

The only readily available source of B-12 is animal and fish products.

So eat more plants to go along with your plant based diet. Got it. I’m not vegan. But it is a substantial portion of my diet. Less meat is inherently good. Good for you, good for the environment, and good for the animals.
