Absolutely. The Panthers are 7-17 in the NFC South the last 4 years. Teams like the Patriots have been so successful because they beat the hell out of their division and then coast to the playoffs.

Rivera has been getting owned by Dan Quinn. We got swept by the Saints and Falcons this year and split with the Bucs. Now that same coach wants full control of a franchise.

We typically go 1-5 every year. Split with TB and get swept by the others, unless we catch one of them resting starters in Week 17 and go 2-4. It gives us absolutely no wiggle room in non-division games.

You basically have to go 10-0 or at least 9-1 to make the playoffs.
