I believe that these are the only schools with a legit shot from year to year. You will have an occasional outlier, but any PAC 12 and Big 12 better win an Impressive OOC game.

Yeah I'm not buying the hype. This game has been more than just personal. The entire offense looks unprepared. No one walked into this game not knowing that Georgia has a good defense.

Having a shot and being totally exposed is two totally different thing. Big 12 doesn't even belong in a game with the SEC.

That's the way it looks right now, but former powerhouses like FSU, Miami, USC, etc. are all sleeping giants. Pretty much any major P5 university in a recruiting hotbed could become a powerhouse if all the chips fall into place.

Kinda like Clemson out of the ACC. They are the only team in that conference that can challenge the SEC.

This game isn't necessarily souring me on Matt Rhule (though I'll grant I wasn't a big Matt Rhule fan anyway) but I'm coming away with more positive impressions of Jake Fromm than I am Rhule.

Right now. But the right circumstances could quickly turn around FSU and/or Miami. UNC is going to surprise a lot of people next year. They didn't lose by more than one score in any game this season and they return a ridiculous amount of their key contributors. I think over 90% of their offensive yardage production is returning next season.
