The Oregon coaching staff has had this guy for years and know him best and they didn't think they have an elite college QB.

You also can find good centers in the later rounds, most teams in the league do, it's just that we as a fanbase just aren't used to good scouting so we need every position filled by a first round pick

You can find good players in any round given you have a staff that understands what to look for. This year we drafted three players that can't play (Daily, Little, Grier). That's just not good drafting.

Obviously, this goes without saying

But usually centers aren't first rounders, so let's not treat that position the same we treat corner, OT, Edge, QB, those positions are harder to find and always get drafted higher and that's for good reason.
