Every QB throws downfield some.

But Herbert is 62nd in the NCAA in yards per completion because he does it a lot less than pretty much any other good college QB.

Size wise, athletically, arm strength and inaccuracy, Herbert is the mirror image of a number of recent QBs.  Wentz, Allen, jones, Donald, Goff, Lock, trubinsky etc. all had “warts” coming out of college but not one as big as Herbert.  He won the Campbell Award, known as the academic Heisman this year, so many Huddlers will cross him off since anyone that smart could not love football and will take the first opportunity to just walk away.

I don't love guy either and him being a senior he should be better.  He has some tools and good character but just not a big fan.

Has a good arm.  Is fairly mobile.  Did not see a lot of touch passes in his arsenal.

Are you fugging kidding me? I have been here for years. Been a Panthers fan since day 1. Played successfully in college, on an NFL practice squad for 2 years and coached for several years thereafter.

I have an opinion and I shared it. I do believe that Herbert is raw but has the talent, if developed, to succeed highly at the pro level. 

If you disagree that’s fine but you don’t have to be such a punk arshole. You can respond with a bit of civility.

If you are telling the truth about your credentials - what do you see that makes you think he is going to be an elite pro QB? I’ve watched a handful of his games the past two seasons and he has never done anything spectacular or stood out. I watched the Auburn/UO game this year and was more impressed with Bo Nix. Did Herbert even throw for a TD today? To be fair, Herbert didn’t do anything terrible either.
