Cam actually threw the ball downfield in college. Herbert rarely throws a ball that travels more than ten yards downfield.

What I feel like I'm watching here is a quarterback who every once in a while makes an impressive looking play. People see that and go "wow, this guy must be good", but there's no consistency, and he can put you in some pretty bad spots while you're waiting for that big play to happen. Basically, he's the football equivalent of a puncher in boxing.

I've always preferred a guy who's consistently good to a guy who's occasionally great so yeah, I'm not on board.

Let CMC play QB. Maybe next year he can do 1000/1000/1000.

That's just the Oregon offense. Imo it's not really a great offense to judge a QB but that doesn't mean Herbert is trash either.

Wisconsin has gotten jobbed on the penalty mix in this game, but at the end of the day when you turn the ball over four times it's hard to win football games.
