Wrong, that team was far from garbage, granted while making solid use some JAGs.  The defense was stout and we had a stable front office.  Oh, and the team largely stayed healthy all year.

The impact of a franchise QB is impossible to measure. That's why QB is widely considered the most important position in sports despite the fact that they don't even play both ways like say a basketball player. The QB position is just THAT vital to offensive football.

We're not going 5-11 next season with a healthy Cam.

I said they were C- minus players around him. I didn't realize that accurately calling them C- meant garbage. Read what I write before rushing to make a "YOU'RE WRONG FOR NOT HAVING MY OPINION" type of post please.

I have yet to be on the fence. I believe you keep getting me confused with somebody else. This team, right now, is garbage without healthy Cam.

So we are going with the 2015 Cam?  If he can return to that level, then I would say, yes, Cam could carry a sub-par team.  The problem is there is zero indication 2015 Cam will return to the field this year and by all accounts the team is garbage, which is way under sub-par.  Again, cake and eating it too.

Take Russell Wilson off of the Seahawks roster and they're not even in playoff contention this year. They'd look like - *gasp!* - garbage.

insert Kyle Allen into most playoff rosters as the starting QB.....and they aren't playoff teams. 

That isn't meant as a Kyle Allen knock.  But he is a very average backup QB.  QB is the most important player on the field.

Take the Cam driven seasons out since the rule change.....when our strength has been our backfield? We haven't had success.  Few teams do.  Strength has to be at the QB position.

Maybe or you are putting too much stock into one position.  Agreed QB is hugely important, but a good...even very good QB can't overcome a horrible roster.  To me garbage is a horrible roster.

Maybe it's semantics and garbage to you is simple bad...to me is atrocious.  A QB alone can't overcome a roster of ineptitude.

Gotcha, it's hard to debate that.  But turning the argument on it's head doesn't really hold water.  Put a good QB on a really, really bad team...they are less bad, but immediate contenders????

What did the Titans look like this year with Mariota vs Tanne? How did the Ravens look last year and this year going from Flacco to Jackson? Look what happened in Denver once Lock got to start...

QB makes way more of a difference than you are implying.
