Tua returning?

Look, we wouldn't get Tua anyhow.  Either the Dolphins or Chargers would sang him first.  Honesly, I think he's damaged goods.  He'd be a younger version of Cam and without an improved OL to protect him either.

That’s the issue. That leaves the Chargers or Miami taking a non QB position.

I have heard rumblings that he might but I think this hurts the Panthers because it’s 1 less qb taken before 7.

Thoughts?

Why would we want to take Tua anyway? His is injury prone at Alabama with less arm strength, mobility, and expeirence than the QB we already have.

Suck in 2020 for Fields or Lawrence. Point. Blank. Period.

That would also mean one of those two teams would likely take Herbert so Hurney wouldn't get any bright ideas.  I think he's VERY overrated.

I like Herbert and believe that with a Head Coach/QB Coach like Mike McCarthy he would be similar to Lawrence at this level. Hell, put Herbert at Clemson and Lawrence at Oregon and you'd probably have the same results as the teams already had.

Don't let a Tigers fan see this blasphemy!

FYI (I don't think you are too far off base)

    • That's a bit of some high expectations for Brown and his impact after returningfrom injury. It's pretty easy to double team one guy when you don't have to worry about the rest of the line. He's lived that for almost his entire career here. He needs his Rucker type partner in crime. A'Shawn is good but he's nearing the end of his run and it would be beneficial to have a better plan going forward.
    • Awww fug. We weren't very good on defense even before everyone got hurt. Dude is going to have to make a mid-career course correction like Bryce did before I'll believe in him.
    • I thin kjust getting Brown back will improve the run defense by 10 spots.  Overall... I dont care so much about have a top ranked run D. As long as we are average thats good enough. You cannot have everything.. I would rather put effort in rushing the passer and pass defense then run D.
