I have most certainly not gotten what I wanted. Marty Hurney is still sitting in that GM office. It was time for Rivera and the Panthers to part ways, but Marty at GM is a bigger problem than Ron was at HC.

Not really---if he can't stay healthy, based on Marty's refusal to protect him, then he is costing us seasons in the L column.  It is not the person, it is having the person and letting him get pounded until he is no longer the same--I compared it to buying a Mercedes and taking it four-wheeling for 9 years.  That is what we did/are doing with Cam and it is what we are doing with CMC. 

A healthy Cam?  You have to look at his longevity and cost in relation to the next contract--in my opinion, you do not pay a man nearly $40m per season who cannot win a Super Bowl for you.  Let's hope he is healthy, has a great 2020, and puts those concerns to rest.  It is not about intelligence, it is about common sense and confidence.  If you lack confidence in his ability to win a ring, there are reasons for it.

Most of the NFL suffered through a lot more missed opportunities than Ron/Carolina. 

Biggest problem with firing Ron is if you fire a coach like Ron you have to find a better one.  Not saying we can’t...but most teams haven’t had better than Ron.

Yeah they got their short term wishes but they don't realize what they will lead to long term. Unless the qb situation is figured out immediately, we're looking at another year or two of huddle finding a new toy to put all the blame on. If Hurney isn't gone, he'll be blamed first and then it'll go to whatever poor bastard chooses to coach this train wreck and then they'll print shirts like the Redskins did saying "SELL THE TEAM" because Tepper didn't bring a championship to Charlotte within 3 years.
