Tre was one of the better defenders we had this year. I can see a lot of guys on defense following Ron.

To play for Ron’s standard 16th to 20th ranked defense and be able to be soft and comfy and still collect a paycheck?

Yeah... I can see that.

Too much koolaid. The old Panthers culture needs to die. Respect players but quit letting them run the team. If they can bring a good trade offer to the table, pull that trigger. Ask Norman how that Washington championship taste.

I don't blame players for being uneasy with the situation and unknowns. The BS idea that things were great and don't need changing is fugging aweful and part of the issue this team has.

Strong post.  The culture must "die."

Lol this defense literally finished 31st in points allowed. Hell, with the way things were going if the season was a bit longer they wouldve easily been dead last and yet they are acting like they are something? Sure the QB and offensive line sucked too but good lord with a supposed defensive genius leading nearly all season and these guys being mostly high round picks or free agent targets how do you finish 31st in points allowed???

Honestly, if they tried their best we should be looking for upgrades. If they werent trying well they shouldnt be here and hopefully take that mentality elsewhere and fail. They get paid too much to pull that stuff and shouldnt be accepted.

DT Vernon Butler - JAG

CB Ross Cockrell - Not a JAG

CB Javien Elliott - JAG

WR Chris Hogan - JAG

DE Wes Horton - JAG

EDGE Bruce Irvin - Jagish

DT Kyle Love - JAG

DT Gerald McCoy - Not a JAG

NT Stacy McGee - JAG

G Greg Van Roten - JAG

G Daryl Williams - JAG

Spot on. I think Addison has always been almost criminally underrated

Boston is better than some people want to believe although not great

Bradberry is not a top 5 corner IMO, but we need to consider everything including franchising him to keep him

McCoy is not as great as he once was, but he's still a good player. I would liked to have seen what him, Short, and Poe could have actually done healthy.

Cockrell was a solid piece.

I would like for them to resign Van Roten if the price is right. He might not be a great starter, but hes a smart player and the line played better with him in there. Still would like to upgrade at starter.

Vernon Butler was a bust as a first rounder, but he's a NFL caliber player when he's motivated

To be clear, "go somewhere and win a championship" pretty heavily implies they don't think it can be done here, but I'd guess Boston may now realize he needs to cover his ass just in case.

If they want to leave as a group to win a championship maybe the Toronto Argonauts will sign them?

Boston should be glad that he gets to keep his authentic game jerseys.  To lash out threats when he has spent most of his career holding out for contracts he is not worth shows a real disconnect between his perception of his worth and reality.

Van Roten's intelligence is a great point.  He is an inferior physical talent, but he was smart--he dabbled at C for a while--wonder if he can play it at a high level?

Ooooh, the world beating defense that gives up more points than our backup offense can score wants to go elsewhere? Do tell !!

42, 38, 30, 40, 29, 34, 29,24, 20, 51, 26, 27, 10, 20, 20, 30. Those are the opponents scores.

Try stopping somebody before you think you went out there and did your fugging job. Jesus. H Christ, this is the equivalent of our Oline saying they want to go elsewhere as a group.
