James Bradberry "I want to be paid a top 5 CB"

The way it works is you play like a top 5 cb u get paid like one.

You don’t get paid top 5 because you think you’re top 5 and  the stats and the eye test prove very differently. Another player who thinks he’s worth waaaay more than he is

Bye good luck in Washington with Ron

Cockrell is a free agent too.

If we don't re-sign Bradberry, our number one corner is Donte Jackson.

It is Very possible

Our only CB signed is Jackson and only DT signed is KK Short going into this FA

On a defense that cant cover anyone and only moved up from dead last in rushing D this week because the saints called off the dogs

Good luck. Whoever that dumb team is that gives him anything for than 13m a year will regret soon. Bradberry is the most un-athletic corner I’ve ever seen. Average corner that plays well against big receivers. Has no playmaking ability and hands are built from bricks.

Umm Hurney is negotiating his new contract right now.  Guess who the dumb team is going to be?

    • Nailed it! Chiefs got #10 overall (and selected Mahomes) and sent the Bills #27, #91, and a 2018 first-rounder (ended up being #18) to pick the QB that has kept them out of the Super Bowl. 💀 Tbf to the Bills tho, they turned those picks into Tre'Davious White, Dion Dawkins, Tremaine Edmunds, and Siran Neal. Three out of four hits ain't bad at all, but that one for one for KC... ooh wee mayne.
    • Yep. Happens to a lot of talented kids. I just think a lot of people don't understand that just because this kid is super talented doesn't mean he's going to make it to the pros. Most of them won't. Some will get injured. Some will run into trouble off the court/field. Some won't put in the work. The catering greatly increases the odds of the latter two. Then most will simply just not be good enough to make it to the pros. Either way, it all adds up to a long shot and the kids need to have solid plan Bs. A few years back my HS had the #1 RB recruit on the nation. He originally committed to UGA but flipped to Bama and was getting decent playing time as a true freshman before obliterating his ankle. He was never the same again after that. Never made it to the pros. Not sure what happened to him but evidently he wasn't the brightest bulb and was basically just getting passed through school to stay academically eligible. I don't think he was a bad kid, never really heard anything like that. He just wasn't all that bright and all the eggs were in the football basket.
