Yeh he looked horrible against the best receiver in the League holding him to four catches for less than fifty yards and no scores... what an f’ing bum

Forgot 30 yard PI that directly let to TD?  And the fact that best receiver was benched after 2.5 quarters.

4 catches on 9 targets. It was the only game all year Thomas had been held under 66% catch percentage.

Bradberry is rated at 59% which is below average by PFF.  Do not kid yourself.  The fact remains that Thomas played only 2.5 quarters and Bradberry interfered on on 30 yard pass that lead to a TD.

Y'all are savage. He's been better than Norman and has been the best CB we have. That said, he's not worth top 5, or top 10. He's probably top 15 which is not as good as it sounds but in our division he's shut down Julio several times, Evans as well. Out of him and Shaq, we should have paid him instead of Shaq. But good ole hurn dawg at it again.

It's time everyone gets their heads out of their asses and realizes that we are actively in a rebuild type mode. There will be a huge turn around and I wouldn't be surprised if they also trade Keek. Be ready for it, as much as I love 59, ever since the 34 switch he's been playing like an average LB. If Tepper really wants to rebuild, he'll only keep CMC.

It depends if we're retooling or rebuilding. For a retool, I think we need him. I would reasonably overpay him for stability. He can also hold In check and mitigate some of the best receivers in the league. Look at Jackson for drafting potential. I think it's a bigger risk drafting and hoping he's on Bradburry's level right away. Or signing JAGs and hoping for the best.

Part of this is posturing I'm sure. He has to start from a higher place so when he gets negotiated down, it's still a number he is happy with. I would be surprised if someone is willing to pay him top 5 money without a single pro bowl to his name (although it's definitely possible.. someone might pay him off potential since he's young). But he will probably at least get more than we'd ideally like to pay. We have to either be prepared to overpay a bit or have to start from scratch in our backfield like we did in 2016 when we let Norman walk. Neither scenario is ideal with so many holes to patch

Safe = CMC, Burns, Shaq, Moore.  That's really about it.

    • Nailed it! Chiefs got #10 overall (and selected Mahomes) and sent the Bills #27, #91, and a 2018 first-rounder (ended up being #18) to pick the QB that has kept them out of the Super Bowl. 💀 Tbf to the Bills tho, they turned those picks into Tre'Davious White, Dion Dawkins, Tremaine Edmunds, and Siran Neal. Three out of four hits ain't bad at all, but that one for one for KC... ooh wee mayne.
    • Yep. Happens to a lot of talented kids. I just think a lot of people don't understand that just because this kid is super talented doesn't mean he's going to make it to the pros. Most of them won't. Some will get injured. Some will run into trouble off the court/field. Some won't put in the work. The catering greatly increases the odds of the latter two. Then most will simply just not be good enough to make it to the pros. Either way, it all adds up to a long shot and the kids need to have solid plan Bs. A few years back my HS had the #1 RB recruit on the nation. He originally committed to UGA but flipped to Bama and was getting decent playing time as a true freshman before obliterating his ankle. He was never the same again after that. Never made it to the pros. Not sure what happened to him but evidently he wasn't the brightest bulb and was basically just getting passed through school to stay academically eligible. I don't think he was a bad kid, never really heard anything like that. He just wasn't all that bright and all the eggs were in the football basket.
