The guy will get paid and then regress due to complacency and an aging body. He doesn’t have the smarts to make up for when his athleticism starts to decline.

He was solid but never an elite corner.  He'd be lucky to get top 10 money.  Everyone wants to get paid - it's a business.  I hope Tepper doesn't let Hurney pay him that kind of money.

Everyone bitched about Gettleman in 2016 but he set the team up financially and with a roster good enough to see success in 2017.

Hurney has tanked all the value on the roster.
