His playcalling is better than this guys. McDaniels will be better this time around. He had damn Kyle Orton and The Golden Calf of Bristol.

Who is the golden calf of Bristol?.............was that The Golden Calf of Bristol by chance or someone else?..............and if it was The Golden Calf of Bristol why did they call him that?

His name autocorrects to that because of ESPN's unholy obsession with that bum.

dude was a hell of a running back.

You know, I really liked that about RR.  That he had SB experience as a player.

But I'm also wondering how it may be better to have a coach who wasn't a player.  Just would seem to make it easier to make the tough decisions and not lean toward playing the vet every single time.

The Panthers are seeking to interview the Chiefs offensive coordinator.

Would be very happy with this hire. Will be interesting to see if the chiefs allow it.

More on Bieniemy...

Eric M. Bieniemy, Jr. (born August 15, 1969) is an American football coach and former professional player who is the offensive coordinator for the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League (NFL). Bieniemy is a former running back who played in the NFL for nine seasons. He played college football for the Colorado Buffaloes and was recognized as a consensus All-American. He was selected by the San Diego Chargers in the second round of the 1991 NFL Draft.[1] Bieniemy served as the offensive coordinator at Colorado before becoming the running backs coach of the Kansas City Chiefs.

Bringing in Borgonzi and Bieniemy would be a brilliant move by Tepper and raise his stock a lot.

My understanding is that since it’s for a HC role (a promotion), then a team must grant the request.  A request can only be denied for lateral moves.  Now they can put off the request until the season is over, but rules do allow an interview this week since KC has a bye.
